Similan Island: 9 Islands.

There are 9 Islands on the eastern of Andaman Sea in Phang Nga Province Area, Thailand. 9 Islands are located on the range from the northern to the Southern. This group are away from Tub-Lamu Pier at around 70 Kilometers and away from Patong Beach of Phuket 90 Kilometers.

Similan means nine in "Ya Wee"  Language, because there are 9 Island Group the people called them "Similan Island". The sea water in the deep Andaman Sea make the shape of 9 Islands are strange difference. The name of 9 Islands are:
1. Bon Island
2. Ba-Ngu Island
3. Similan Island
4. Pa-Yoo Island
5. Ha Island
6 Meang Island
7. Payan Island
8. Pa-Young Island
9. Hoo-Yong Island.

Above the 9 Islands are the group called "Similan Island."  And, nowadays, become to be the highest popular place for snorkeling Tour, The sea water at 9 Islands are very clear and crystal blue on the High Season (November - April.)
